These task descriptions relate to calibrating an aggregate distribution/mode choice model for Wellington.
  1. Develop distribution and mode choice model specifications
  2. Observed vehicle assignments
  3. Create analysis files and set up distribution and mode choice model statistical estimation procedures
  4. Preliminary distribution and mode choice model calibrations
  5. Final distribution and mode choice model calibrations
The approach to distribution and mode choice model estimation taken for Auckland differed in some respects from that for Wellington:
The tasks associated with this approach are separately described in Task 8a Distribution and Mode Choice, Task 8b Active Modes and Task 8c External Model.
